Experimenting by creating raw basic content.
I have been active across lots of different channels; LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. So you know that I like trying out different things on social media. From launching an ebook on Amazon, writing this blog and even a failed Almond Subscription business called “Nuts About” my default and happiest state is taking action.
I love taking action in different formats and challenging myself to do things that others are scared of or not sure how to do. It’s all about taking action and learning from the feedback. Taking action and creating raw content is fun.
A new challenge a new show!
As part of this ethos together with my business partner Chris Bruno we have recorded and launched a YouTube show. It’s a very experimental long-form conversational through Social INK’s YouTube Channel.
And we are calling it …
What do you think good title? If it goes well then we will do these monthly.
In this episode we discussed;
- Being authentic with your personal brand.
- The Blog-a-day Challenge.
- The benefits of long-form content.
- The future of work.
No planning but a lot of fun.
As I said this is an experiment so very raw virtually no planning. It was a lot of fun to record and it’s already influenced our content output for the next few weeks. We’ve asked each other why we didn’t do this before.
In the future we will look to do these in person which should an extra layer of quality to the audio and video. But whilst Chris is in France and I am in London a recorded Zoom is a easy Pilot Episode to test the format. That’s one of the things I like about most social media channels is the ease to test concepts and see what works and what doesn’t.
Let us know what you think and if there is anything we should do differently! So head over to The Social INK Show and get involved in the comments.
